Concepts and Competencies

The learner will:

  • Describe classroom rules
  • Explain a consequence for breaking a classroom rule

Supportive Practices

The adult will:

  • Discuss rules with children
  • Explain purpose of rules (safety, respect)
  • Begin to introduce games that have rules
  • Read books that support following rules (fiction and non-fiction)
  • Create a class rules chart
